NEOGEN DAY-LIGHT PROTECTION
SUNSCREEN SPF 50 PA+++ 50 REVIEW

By now it’s no secret that sunscreens help to protect our skin from harmful UV rays and free radicals that can trigger skin disorders, discoloration, premature aging and sunburn however not all sunscreens are built the same and finding on that suits can be a struggle. So when Neogen Dermalogy a brand known for breaking new ground in the skincare market by using top quality ingredients and bio-patented technologies released their first broad-spectrum PF I was intrigued to try it.
The product claims to be best suited for all skin types, be ultra-lightweight and promotes anti-aging with natural ingredients.
I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. Having sensitive skin and being of a deeper skin tone it’s always been a challenge to find a sunscreen that was right for my skin as I would usually experience white cast and sometimes a burning sensation.
What stood out to me were ingredients like rose and honey extracts. Rose extract has been long known for its ability to intensely hydrate the skin while honey extracts functions as an anti-inflammatory and prevents damage with a host of anti-aging properties including antioxidants, amino acids, and vitamins.
The texture is as lightweight as it claims, it easily absorbs into the skin and leaves it feeling soft and hydrated, I even double it as a moisturizer when I’m on the go and has a matte-like finish. I love that there is no white cast with this product, so my dark skin doesn’t look ashy after applying. The small tube makes really easy to transport and carry with you in a small bag or purse and the scent is very fresh and light.
Final thoughts, I’m obsessed with this product and has easily become a staple in my skincare routine. Lightweight, non-irritating, hydrating and no white cast, easy to transport, there is nothing not to love about this product.
